To make money .

2.)In the case studies, why did the kids start particular businesses?

A:
Scott, to save up enough money to buy a bike, Meggie,walk dogs feed dogs and clean up after them,Jason, Knows what kids and adults want on their kids birthday party, Alison, ever sense Alison was 8 years old he was responsible, David, David knows that for many people writing letters for people is hard, Colleen, Lots of girls were making jewelery so that's were colleen got her idea from. Matt, a gift from his mom when he was 8 years old-a magic kit,Brandi, Always liked working hard with hands, Jessica and Krista, An extra school project, Jake,finds garnets then sells them,Kira, mom own a bakery, Mike, loves social studies.

3.)What are the important things you should consider when you plan to start a business of your own?

A:
What am i good at, and what do i like.

4.)What are some risk's the kids faced in running their business?



A:

Same people have the same job, never enough time because of schoolwork or chores, close down because your not getting enough customers which reflects on money .

5.)What are some productive resources needed to run the various business?

A:
There are two ways i can ansewer this and the first are some resources: Business Kids, Homeland Publications, Junior Achievement, National Federation of Independent Business Education Foundation Awards Program. The second way is if your doing a magic act you would need a magic kit, if your going to sell leamonade you will need lemons, if you are going to sell beads you will need beads , Do you get the point?

6.)What is profit?

A:
Profit is the money that is left over when expenses have been subtracted from income.

7.)What happens when an entrepreneur does not make a profit?

A:
The entrepreneur ends a business in the same organized fashion he or she started with.
